·         To learn how mathematics developed from ancient times.

·         To learn the role of mathematics in the rise of science.

·         To study a life of a mathematician.

 

Contents:

·         History of numbers.

·         History of arithmetic's

·         History of Algebra.

·         History of the concept of function. (Written and Presentation assignment).

·         History of Calculus. (Written and Presentation assignment).

·         Project (Movie: a Story of a mathematician).
